Most of the bus routes in and around Guildford operate from the bus station in the town centre and there are four Park & Ride services. From the east is the A31 which links with the A3, leading to London and Portsmouth. The A25 connects with the M25 London Orbital motorway.

Guildford today still retains the granite setts, known as cobbles in the High Street and features a general street market that is held on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as a farmer’s market.
