Farnborough is a town in Hampshire, famous for its association with aviation; Farnborough is the home of Farnborough Aerodrome, Farnborough Airshow, the Royal Aircraft Establishment and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch. There are three railway stations in the town; Farnborough main railway station with services running to London Waterloo and Basingstoke; Farnborough North railway station links with Reading and Gatwick; North Camp station connects with Ash Vale.

Farnborough’s main shopping centre is divided into three areas – Kingsmead, Queensmead and Princesmead. Kingsmead and Queensmead are being redeveloped and known as ‘The Meads’. To the south of Farnborough is North Camp village which has a range of independent retailers. West of the town and on the border of Frimley are two retail parks, Solartron and Blackwater.
