The City of London can also be reached on foot in less than 30 minutes. For road connections, the A11 road connects to the M25 for motorway access and there are plenty of buses and taxis in the area. London City Airport is just 30 minutes away and Gatwick Airport is just under an hour’s journey from the area. Heathrow Airport can be accessed in around 70 minutes.

Straddling Central and East London, Whitechapel benefits from a great range of restaurants in both of these districts. Some of the most popular options in the vicinity include Meadah Grill which serves up great Turkish food and Tayyab’s for Punjabi cuisine.
