About Commercial Street
Commercial Street is a road in Spitalfields, spanning from Aldgate to Shoreditch, and is home to a number of office premises for businesses to choose from. The area has long been associated with commercial and industrial activity, and this continues today. Until the late 20th century, the area was dominated by Spitalfields fruit and vegetable market, as well as the rag trade, but when Spitalfields buildings were redeveloped, much of the street was given over to retail stores, fashionable clothing shops and restaurants.
To the south of the street are former warehouse buildings which have since been converted into a mix of residential and office premises. Offering innovative workspace and a number of nearby transport links, Commercial Street is a great location for companies looking for office space in a vibrant part of the city.
