About Chelsea
Chelsea is an affluent and highly popular area of London bounded by the River Thames to the south. The area is home to a number of premium offices, found mostly in refurbished period properties, providing businesses with an exclusive London postcode. King’s Road is the main thoroughfare of the area, originally built as a private road for King Charles II to connect his palace in Whitehall to Hampton Court. From luxury fashion boutiques to Michelin-starred restaurants, Chelsea is a prestigious area to rent serviced office space. An exclusive area of London, Chelsea provides companies with an impressive business address.
Surrounding Areas
Chelsea is bordered by Fulham to the west, Belgravia to the east Knightsbridge to the north, and the River Thames to the south.
Chelsea Office Space
Much of the property in and around Chelsea is owned by Earl Cadogan, who has a considerable portfolio of retail property principally on King’s Road, Sloane Street and Fulham Road. The majority of office availability will be found in converted period and listed Victorian and Georgian properties in the area providing serviced and shared office space, with high tech facilities, meeting and conference rooms.
Transport Links
Buses provide a very good service throughout Chelsea and its surrounding area, leading to Liverpool Street Station, Oxford Circus, Clapham Junction Station and Victoria, among other places. While there is no underground station at Chelsea, Sloane Square and South Kensington underground stations are close by and offer services on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. Overground rail services are available at the Imperial Wharf railway station at Chelsea Harbour on the West London Line. The Crossrail 2 project has proposed building an underground station on the King’s Road in Chelsea, but this has not yet been approved.
Shopping and Restaurants
The King’s Road is the main thoroughfare and is home to many high street names and fashion brands, along with premium office space.
