Modern Slavery Statement
This document is created in compliance with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and details the actions which FreeOfficeFinder is taking to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its operations.
Policies and Commitment
FreeOfficeFinder is dedicated to upholding human rights. We strictly oppose human trafficking, slavery, forced and child labour and will not engage with entities that are involved with these practices.
Our key policies include:
- Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy: This upholds the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and mandates supplier staff training and due diligence.
- Ethics Code: Reinforces our commitment to the Act, emphasising due diligence and training.
- Whistleblowing Policy: Encourages the reporting of concerns, including slavery issues, with access to an anonymous helpline.
- Human Rights Policy: Aligns with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, specifically denouncing slavery.
Training Efforts
FreeOfficeFinder educates its employees, especially managers, to spot and report potential violations of the Act. We partner with external organisations to effectively train employees on human trafficking and modern slavery.
Outsourcing and Supply Chain Management
We ensure secure vetting of our outsourced and third-party suppliers, including casual labour providers. This includes compliance checks, due diligence, and contractual obligations to adhere to the Act.
Client Engagement
We refuse service to entities which are involved in slavery, human trafficking, forced or child labour, and we will terminate relationships with clients who are found to be engaged in such practices.
Risk Management and Future Plans
We perceive a low risk of slavery in our business and supply chain due to our industry and preventative measures. Nonetheless we continue to monitor and address any potential issues. FreeOfficeFinder is committed to updating its policies and practices regularly to exclude slavery and related abuse.
Responsibility and Oversight
It is FreeOfficeFinder’s directors and senior management’s responsibility to implement and maintain these standards. This includes regular reviews, resource allocation and adherence to our commitments.
